This Is Us' Justin Hartley and Chrishell Stause have split after two years of marriage.
According to
PEOPLE, the 42-year-old actor cited irreconcilable differences as the reason beyond their divorce.
He listed the date of separation as July 8, 2019. They have since attended a number of events together, including a pre-Golden Globes party on November 14.
Neither one of the pair have commented on the split yet.
“In many ways, they’re somewhat fundamentally incompatible,” an insider close to the couple told
PEOPLE, adding that they had been "having trouble for awhile."

“Chrishell is really ready to just settle down and be a wife and stay-at-home mom and was hoping to start a family relatively soon. Justin wants that but also doesn’t think it has to happen in the near future and is at a point in his career where he wants to really be able to explore all the options that are coming his way," the source said. "He’s reached a new level of fame thanks to the show and he doesn’t want to close many doors right now, and that’s not the path Chrishell is looking to take. She thought babies would happen soon after they got married, but it just hasn’t worked out.”
The couple wed at Malibu’s Calamigos Ranch on October 28, 2017 - exactly four years after they first met.
They exchanged vows in front of a handful of their closest family and friends in the romantic ceremony. The guests included Hartley's costars Mandy Moore, Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown and Milo Ventimiglia.
