Update: Mama June’s Daughter Claims She Is The Child Who Was Molested By Sex Offender Boyfriend

Mama June’s daughter Anna Caldwell has stepped forward, reportedly telling TMZ that she was the eight year old girl involved in the molestation case that saw her mother’s boyfriend serve 10 years in prison. The 20-year old mother of one, known as Chickadee on the show, told TMZ that although she originally believed that her mother was not dating McDaniel she has now since seen photographs and evidence that convince her otherwise. Caldwell reportedly told TMZ that June betrayed her by seeing McDaniel again – who was jailed for 10 years after forcing a minor to perform oral sex acts on him. She has now broken contact with her mother following the news that she is romantically back involved with McDaniel. TMZ is now reporting that the local sheriff’s office and child services have now been notified. Image via TMZ Mama June yesterday confirmed that Here Comes Honey Boo Boo has been cancelled by network TLC, slamming the claims that she is dating a convicted sex offender as “totally untrue”. TLC stated it was “not currently in production on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series.” Shannon later posted a video on Facebook confirming that she had received a call from the channel: “Just got a phone call this morning from TLC. As of right now there will be no more production of the show. The statement of me dating a sex offender is totally untrue. Pumpkin has openly said I’m not dating him. I would never put my kids in danger.” TMZ have reported that the TLC network have since reached out to Anna, offering her counselling support amid the claims.
