Una Healy has revealed that her and her rugby beau Ben Foden have hired a nanny because of their busy work schedules.
The singer admitted that finding time to be a mother to 11-month-old Aoife Belle and a pop star in one of the biggest girl bands in the world was proving difficult.
Una and the rest of the girls have been very busy in the US recently.
She explained to OK! Magazine: “When I’m not working, she’s with us all the time but when I’m working, if I can have her around, I will.
“We tried to do it ourselves but it was very hard, it’s not a nine-to-five job and we struggled, so we got a nanny.”
The proud mum posted this snap of Aoife yesterday.
But The Saturdays star also said that being apart from her daughter was heartbreaking: “The first time I’d been apart from her was for a week in New York and I was so down.”
She added: “Whether you’re a stay-at-home mum or a working mum, a mother’s work is never done. I love being a mum but I also have a job I love. I’ve learned that you don’t have to sacrifice either, you have to balance them.”
