Una Healy “having fun” dating Garda love interest

Love is in the air.

The Saturdays singer Una Healy has a new man in her life and she is reportedly all loved up. Since moving back to her home town of Thurles in Co. Tipperary from the UK last year with her children Aoife and Tadhg, it seems she has already gotten close to someone new. Now an RTÉ presenter, the singer has been up and down to Dublin but her job isn't the only reason as it's reported that her new man is a Garda in the city centre. While it is believed to be early days for the couple, the pair were said to be introduced through mutual friends. A source told the Irish Mail on Sunday: "They have been quietly dating for a few months now. “Una wants to take things slowly and just have some fun dating again after all of the upheaval in her life.” Una was previously dating Limerick GAA star David Breen but the pair split up last year. The news of her latest romance comes as Una's ex-husband Ben Foden opened up about their relationship ahead of his debut on Dancing on Ice. The pair were married for six years before splitting up in 2018 and the rugby player said that "time has been a great healer’ for the ex-couple. Admitting he put Una through a lot of stress at the time, he was happy that she was happy at last. He said: “I knew that time was going to be the biggest healer, like with anything in this world, you need time. “Una’s a smart woman, she can be disappointed in me, she knows we have two kids together and our main job as human beings on this planet now is to raise these two kids together and hopefully we’ll turn them into beautiful people when they get older. "I’m glad things are getting back on track and Una’s happy at work and she’s happy in Ireland with her family."
