Two reality stars have confirmed they will not be heading Down Under with the rest of Geordie Shore for series six of the show. Ricci Guarnaccio and Dan Thomas have decided their time is up and are happy for the rest of the cast to move on without them.
Ricci, who joined the show on series two, said that he was happy to move on with his life: “After four series on Geordie Shore, I feel like it’s now my time to finally move on,” he said. “This past series has been particularly tough for me, especially publically broadcasting my relationship with Vicky, which has definitely had its ups and downs.”
Vicky and Ricci had been involved throughout the last few series and have had their ups and downs, particularly at the end of the last episode when they publically ended their engagement. According to Heat, Ricci said he was happy for Vicky to move on: “I’m happy now to let Vicky do her thing on the show, and move onto other things for myself, out of the Geordie Shore house.”
Vicky and Dan, who split up at the end of the last series
Dan, who joined the show for the last series, has confirmed he is also leaving. “Geordie Shore continues to be an amazing part of my life, meeting mint people in and out the house and visiting fantastic places and countries,” he said. “I’m really going to (sic) miss living with everyone as they’re like a second family to me, especially the lads. Geordie Shore was a once in a lifetime experience and I’m so grateful for having been given such an incredible opportunity by MTV.”
Dan. MILF chaser.
The Geordie star added: “I am staying in Newcastle where in intend to pursue some exciting personal projects and to continue to chase MILF’s!”
What a guy…
