Many big names are on board this year.

The celebrity cast for the next season of Channel 4’s SAS Who Dares Wins has been revealed, and it features two beloved former Love Island cast members.

The series sees celebrity recruits try their hand at basic training, taking part in a series of physical and mental challenges to see if they have what it takes to qualify for the special forces unit of the British military.

Amber Rose Gill, who won Love Island in 2019, will feature on the reality series alongside her co-star Curtis Pritchard, and his brother, professional dancer AJ.

Speaking ahead of the show, which airs on 4 September at 9pm, Amber said: “Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is a massive test of who you are as an individual. I learnt so much about myself that I didn’t expect in such a short space of time, but let me tell you, it’s really f*cking hard.”

Curtis meanwhile said: “I’ve always been into pushing myself to the extreme, but let’s be honest, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is the most extreme show on TV. It’s seeing whether you can cope, whether you can go to hell and back and come out the other side stronger and better. I really wanted to see if I had what it takes!”

AJ described his time on the show as “enlightening”.

“Everything about the show is so positive,” he said. “Even in the most dangerous scenarios there’s always a positive to take from it. This was a massive life goal ticked. It was everything I hoped it would be and more.”

Other celebrities taking part include Ashley Cain, Calum Best, Dwain Chambers, Fatima Whitbread, Ferne McCann, Jade Jones, Jennifer Ellison, Jonathan Broom-Edwards, Maisie Smith, Pete Wicks and Shannon Courtenay.

Ashley Cain said that stepping outside of his comfort show on SAS helped him combat the trauma of losing his daughter Azaylia.
