Twilight actor Jackson Rathbone has live tweeted a dramatic flight experience yesterday morning, after his JetBlue Flight was forced to make an emergency landing in California.
The actor, who plays Jasper Hale in the vampire series, was travelling with his family when the Texas bound flight developed engine trouble.
Rathbone took to Twitter to document the events, claiming that as the cabin was filling with smoke they noticed that oxygen masks hadn’t dropped, forcing the flight attendant to manually deploy them.
An airport spokeswoman said four people were injured in Thursday’s incident on the Airbus A320, with one released and one taken to a local hospital.

According to CBS Los Angeles, the pilots had received a warning signal that the number two engine was overheating. JetBlue are now said to be looking into the cause of the plane’s mechanical difficulties.
Tracking website FlightAware said the plane took off at 9:17am, but was forced to land just 13minutes later 9:30am.
