The former boyfriend of X Factor judge Tulisa has admitted to releasing a sex tape of the star.
The star’s barrister told the court that his client admitted responsibility for publishing the video and apologised for it. He promised never to do it again.
Tulisa Contostavlos launched legal action against Mr Edwards in March.
Speaking after the release of the tape in March Tulisa said: “When you share an intimate moment with someone that you love, you care about and you trust, you never imagine for one minute that that footage may at any point be shared with the rest of the UK or the rest of the people around the world.”
The case is set to continue over the next few days.
