True ‘love’ for tennis champ Rafael Nadal as he gets engaged to his long-term girlfriend

Two-time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal has gotten engaged to his girlfriend of 14 years, Mery Perelló. The pair began dating in 2005, but have been very private about their relationship to date. The 'King of Clay' and his beautiful girlfriend Mery, also known as Xisca, are due to tie the knot later this year. In a world exclusive with HELLO! Rafa revealed he popped the question back in May during a romantic trip to Rome, but the couple kept it to themselves for an eighth month period. The two Spaniards will likely have their ceremony in Mallorca this Autumn. Currently ranked world No. 2 in men's singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals, 32-year-old Nadal has previously spoken about wanting to start a family. He told HELLO!:

"Obviously, I have the intention of forming a family. I love children and I would like my children to do what they like."

Nadal recently made it to the final of the Australian Open but was dominated by Novak Djokovic in a 6-3 6-2 6-3 loss at Rod Laver Arena.
