Lauren Goodger has revealed her horror after discovering that a short video of her performing a sex act on an ex-boyfriend was leaked online.
The intimate video, which only last six-seconds in total, features ex-boyfriend Jake Mclean and was filmed without her knowledge.
24-year-old property developer Jake shot the clip in the pair’s bedroom at their home in Epping Essex.
In an interview with The Sun, the former star of hit reality television series, The Only Way Is Essex, explained that the ordeal was “mortifying and humiliating”.
“I’ve got no control over the situation I am in. I feel powerless. My private life has been invaded in the most horrible way”.
Goodger became aware of the clip after it had been circulating via WhatsApp and email for over a week.
Identifying with the pain of “revenge porn” victims, Lauren said: “I can even see how some girls would feel suicidal and not be able to cope in this situation”.
“I can’t say I am a victim of it — as I don’t know if Jake is behind it,” she continued.
“I am angry with him and have confronted him about it but it has not got me anywhere. He’s been texting me saying he’s sorry”.
The Essex girl also expressed how she felt “betrayed and embarrassed” by the situation, “although I haven’t done anything wrong or illegal” she added.
“I would warn other girls: ‘Do not let this happen to you. Never trust anyone.’ Jake was my boyfriend and I was in love with him so I trusted him 100 per cent.
“When we were together and I was walking round the house naked, he would take pictures of me. He has got pictures of my bum and things like that.
“But he was my boyfriend so you don’t really worry what they’ve got on their phone. That’s the person you think you are going to spend the rest of your life with so you trust them”.
