Tom Holland explains why he won’t walk the red carpet with Zendaya

Tom Holland has opened up about his relationship with Zendaya

They're often spotted in public but Holland has explained why he chooses not to walk the red carpet with the Dune actress.

Holland explained he attends few events because the attention from his fans can often take away from the actors.

He told Men's Health that he makes sure to give Zendaya her time to shine rather than making the moment about their relationship.

He doesn't walk the red carpet with her "because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us."

Holland admitted he will likely step away from the spotlight when he becomes a father.

The 28-year-old said he won't star in movies when he has a family.

"When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. Golf and dad.

"And I will just disappear off the face of the earth," he added.

Tom Holland has reportedly been dating Zendaya since 2021.

The couple met on the set of Spider-Man in 2016 but remained good friends for years.

Their relationship was exposed after photos of the pair kissing were published.

Holland previously told GQ, "One of the downsides of our fame is that privacy isn't really in our control anymore and a moment that you think is between two people that love each other very much is now a moment that is shared with the entire world.

"I've always been really adamant to keep my private life private, because I share so much of my life with the world anyway. We sort of felt robbed of our privacy."
