This could create a bit of controversy…
Brian McFadden, the gentleman that he is, said he considers his marriage to Vogue Williams to be his “first time”.
The former Westlife singer was married to Kerry Katona between 2002 and 2004 and was engaged to singer Delta Goodrem for four years. We’re spotting a few similarities with Ross from ‘Friends’ in Brian.
The Dublin man said when he was younger he didn’t understand what he was doing, which makes his latest union his first proper marriage.
He told the UK edition of HELLO! Magazine; “For me this is my first time getting married.
“This is me getting married for the rest of my life – and a completely different life. I was 18 or 19 when I got married the first time. I was in Westlife. I had no idea what I was doing. It wasn’t till I was 30 that I turned into an adult.”
We think that’s fair enough to believe Brian, but to announce it publicly when you have two kids with Kerry? You’ve yet to grow up…
The 32-year-old met his model and DJ wife Vogue, 26, in a Dublin nightclub 18 months ago. They wed in a castle in Florence, Italy at the beginning of this month.
Brian’s daughters, Molly, 11, and nine-year-old Lilly-Sue, from his marriage to Kerry, acted as bridesmaids. Their new step-mum Vogue is said to get on really well with the girls
She said: “They weren’t too keen on being flower girls, so they are mini-bridesmaids. They are such easy girls to be with. We get on really well. They are fun to hang around with. They totally accept me.”
While Brian is getting his gears in action to start a new family with his wife, she said she is keen to wait a little while first.
She added: “Not for a few years. Who wants pregnant DJs? Brian would have a child tomorrow if he could. He’s great with the girls. He’s great with the dog.”
We think Brian would want to work on his greatness with words…
