Think Before You Instagram: Bieber Banned From Country After Incessant Photo-Posting

Bieber's had it rough the last few weeks, now it looks like he could be knocking one country off his world tour...

He thought he had the world at his feet, but it’s safe to say he can knock off one country now.

He probably thought he had finally found a way to win over the 18-30 male demographic, but it was to his detriment.

Unfortunately for teenager popstar Bieber, it may come at the cost of a ban from entering the Philippines.

Following Filipino boxing hero Manny Pacquiao’s knock-out at the fists of his rival Juan Manuel Marquez earlier this month, the Canadian singer took to his Instagram account and posted Photoshopped images of the unconscious fighter.

In one, the late Michael Jackson is inserted in the ring, clad in his get-up from hit song Smooth Criminal paraphrasing the hit song’s line “Manny are you ok, are you ok Manny?”

In the other, the Simba character from the Disney movie The Lion King is placed on Pacquiao as he lays out cold on his stomach with the caption “Dad, wake up”, a mock-up of the scene where Simba’s father King Mufasa is killed.

Pacquiao released a statement saying he would pray for Bieber, but Filipino politicians haven’t reacted with the same patience for the star.

The Philippines didn’t find this funny.

“Mr. Bieber should have known that the Hon. Pacquiao has reached his stature as such as a result of sheer hard work, determination and firm belief in God, and despite such stature best exemplifies humility and grace even in defeat,” a statement from a group of congressmen read.

The members have filed a resolution demanding an apology from Bieber for what they deem “distasteful comments … lest he be declared persona non grata”.

Sounds like you could be knocking Manila off your world tour so Biebs…
