If you’ve ever wondered how David Beckham managed to impress wife Victoria… wonder no more!
In a recent interview with GQ magazine, David revealed how he wore a pair of “really small” Gucci shirts during the couple’s first holiday together in the hope of impressing his future wife.
“When I first started going out with Victoria and we went away for the first time I remember I took a pair of small, tight, dark blue Gucci trunks with me – I was obviously trying to impress her.
“They were really small, but they worked!”
The 39-year-old also spoke about how meeting Hollywood legend Jack Nicholson left him star-struck, “We were at a Lakers game in the Staples Centre and he (Jack) went to walk in the toilet as I was walking out. He turned to me and said, “Alright David?” I was blown away by the fact he even knew who I was!”
This week, David Beckham launched his debut swimwear collection at London’s Shoreditch House and the range will be available to buy in selected stores and online from May 22.
