Celebrities seem to be from a completely different world but at the end of the day, they are like anyone else.
In fact they are just normal people with normal problems… or are they? We run through some of the problems that only affect the rich and famous.
1. Not being recognised – It happens to celebrities all the time from Nicola Roberts to Nicole Sherzinger. Whether it’s getting into the newest nightclub or into first class on an airplane, stars are continually complaining about people not knowing who they are. It must be so difficult that one time it happens.
2. Having people fixing hair and makeup constantly – The idea of always having somebody poking at you does seem annoying and patience-testing. Then again when those people are fixing your hair and touching up your makeup, it doesn’t seem so annoying. In fact looking perfect all the time sounds rather nice
3. Being linked to hot A-list star – Imagine waking up, going out to get the paper and reading a headline that suggests you were dating Ryan Gosling. Would be tough, wouldn’t it? No of course it wouldn’t! If we were linked to Ryan Gosling or some other Hollywood heartthrob we’d be over the moon.
4. Which iconic car to take out – Is it the Porsche or the Ferrari? Let me just think about that for a few minutes. Celebrities are known for having the best of the best when it comes to absolutely everything. It’s the same with their houses. Which holiday home will we go to this summer or which of my four homes will I stay in tonight? Hmmm…
5. Having to sign autographs for adoring fans – Oh no, please, I couldn’t possibly sign another autograph for another adoring fan who came to see my film. And no, I don’t have time to pose for photographs outside the premiere of my latest release that is set for the top of the box office and is going to make me millions.
6. Picking between designer outfits – We’re sure the Hollywood elite are tormented during the night over the predicament of whether to wear Chanel or Dior on the red carpet the next day. And don’t get them started on all the free clothing and accessories they are sent. That makes the decision even harder!
7. Jetting all over the world for weeks – Stars are constantly on the road so it must be tough. Travelling in private jets, staying in swanky hotels, shoulder-rubbing with other famous people, it has to be difficult. Then there’s the on-location shooting in sunny Europe for months on end. Tis a hard life!
After finding out about these problems it makes us happy to be mere mortals living in the ordinary world. Okay so we’re lying, we’d swap our overdue bill for a McQueen dress any day!
