So they’ve been on and off more times than we’ve had hot dinners but the latest is that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s wedding is off… well it’s been postponed at least.
Apparently the couple, who have had a tough few months what with the all the cheating rumours and media speculation, won’t be walking down the aisle this June as previously planned.
Miley has continuously defended her and Liam’s relationship.
A source told Life & Style magazine: “They were supposed to get married in June. But there have been so many problems with them, they thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment. They aren’t ready.”
The insider added: “Their families are both concerned. They don’t want to see Miley and Liam get married and then get divorced. They’re very young to be getting married.”
The pair met on the set of The Last Song and got engaged last year.
Miley and Liam’s relationship was rocked with infidelity claims earlier this year but despite all the hype, Miley has been spotted on numerous occasions wearing her engagement ring since and is said to be keen to make the relationship work.
And while we are a little sad that we’ll be kept waiting for their star-studded nuptials, and will have to return our hats to their boxes, we are glad to see that they are finally taking their time!
