Gerry Ryan’s son is set to follow in his dad’s footsteps and launch a career in the entertainment industry.
According to the Irish Independent, Rex Ryan has landed a role in The Circus of Perseverance, which will be held in the Black Loft theatre as part of the fringe festival.

The comedic show is being produced by the Gonzo theatre company.
The 22-year old son of the late radio legend is currently studying at the Gaiety school of acting in Dublin.
The Ryan children seem to have inherited a flair for show business from their late father as his eldest daughter Lottie (25) already works in broadcasting and is a regular guest on Colm Hayes’ 2fm show.

Bonnie Ryan (19) hopes to break into the industry as a singer.
Rex’s play will run from September 10th-15th.
