Danny O’Donoghue might have women throwing themselves at him but the singer won’t be able to do anything about it, for the next few weeks anyway.
The Script front man has revealed that he has a number of broken ribs after falling off a banana boat while on holiday in Barbados. Hardly the most heroic way of breaking a few bones but painful nonetheless!

Danny, who is currently shooting for the second series of The Voice, tweeted the news to his followers.
He wrote: “Hey guys thanks for the support, yes my ribs are fractured, asked for a body cast but all I got was pain killers #showgoeson.”
Danny can’t sing or get down and dirty apparently.
The 32-year-old also told The Sun newspaper what happened: “I came off the back of an inflatable boat being towed by another boat. I was bouncing around on the f**king thing and I popped out the back and crashed on to my ribs.”
He added: “I can’t take deep breaths to sing or have sex. I don’t have a girlfriend to complain, though.” We’re sure there are a few ladies out there who wouldn’t mind doing something about that!
