The Only Way Is Essex reality TV star Joey Essex has popped the question to his fiance and co-star, Sam Faiers.
Twenty-two-year-old club promoter Joy popped the question to Sam as they holidayed in Dubai, The Sun reports.
The couple were seen heading for their romantic break at the end of the last episode on the ITV2 show. It is thought the proposal will be screened on the April 3rd episode.
A source said: “Joey had already bought a ring and wanted everything to be perfect, which is why he chose Dubai as he knows Sam loves it there.
“He was still overcome with nerves before asking and nearly didn’t go through with it.”
The couple started dating in 2011 on the reality TV show.
Joey has been dating the Minnie’s Boutique owner since the second series in 2011. They split for a brief period in late 2011 before rekindling their romance in 2012.
Joey has refused to confirm or deny the alleged proposal, but wrote on Twitter, “OMG! Did you hear that?”
