Would you ever strip off in front of a camera? No? Well, you’re not alone, because apparently Gossip Girl star Blake Lively isn’t exactly keen about taking her kit off for the sake of a role.
According to reports, Blake has officially ruled out ever doing nude scenes on camera simply because she believes that her nudity would be ‘distracting’ to the main plot of whatever film or television show she was acting in.
“I know that if I am watching a scene and someone has their boobs out, then that’s all I’m looking at – I can’t help it,” Blake confessed.
“I just don’t think that will ever be right for me,” she added.
We have to admit, the woman does have a point. How many times have you been watching a film only to get distracted by someone’s abs or the lack of cellulite on someone’s thighs/bum?
But then again, if we had a body like Blake’s, we probably wouldn’t mind going nude (well…within reason) for some roles.
Blake is currently dating actor Ryan Reynolds.
Despite the fact that the actress has pins to die for, she insists that her figure has got absolutely nothing to do with exercise.
“I am terrible; I don’t do any exercise – I’m going to have to learn the hard way. I love food too much, and my family is from the South, so the food I like is not necessarily the best for you,” said Blake.
“There are days when I will be like, ‘Oh my goodness, I am not happy with the way I look because I cannot fit into any of my clothes!’ so I eat quinoa that week, then I feel good,” she added.
So Blake will never get her kit off for a role. Fair play. (We bet boyfriend, Ryan Reynolds, is pleased about this decision).
