The Moment of Truth: Robert and Kristen’s First Television Interview Together Since Their ‘Split’

They are said to be back together and happier than ever but is that the picture that their first television interview post-scandal paints?

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have appeared together on television for the first time since it emerged that she had a brief fling with married director Rupert Sanders. And contrary to what you might expect, it was as if nothing had happened!

The couple, who met and fell in love on the set of Twilight, have rekindled their romance and looked at ease during the MTV News interview which also involved their co-star Taylor Lautner.

All three of them took part in the interview to promote the upcoming film.

In saying that the subject of their personal lives was not approached, the questions instead focusing on the latest instalment of the film series, Breaking Dawn: Part II.

Kristen sat between Robert and Taylor during the interview and looked relaxed in a jumper and jeans. It seems her apology to her boyfriend has worked wonders for their relationship as they laughed and joked with each other throughout it.

As well as talking about their upcoming film, the pair spoke about the slightly unusual Halloween costumes that they were spotted in earlier this week.

Kristen recreated one of Natalie Portman’s Closer looks using a pink wig and a pair of sunglasses while Robert opted for a clear mask with painted-on eyebrows.

Speaking about her own outfit, the actress said: “Oh yes, it looks awesome… That’s actually a really weird photo. If you’ve seen that, that’s one aspect of Natalie’s character.”

The two young stars looked to be getting on very well indeed.

The three stars also talked about their memories of the film franchise that has catapulted them into the limelight.

Robert recalled fans’ discontent when it was announced he got the role: “Unanimous unhappiness.” He added: “I think it’s come full circle and they hate me again.”
