His boy band may have picked up three awards at the MTV Video Music Awards at the start of the month but that’s not what Niall Horan remembers the most from the night.
The One Direction star has admitted that he hasn’t yet washed off Katy Perry’s lipstick from when she kissed him on stage. Clearly he’s holding onto the moment for as long as possible!

Singer Katy, who presented the boys with one the award for Best Pop Video, puckered up for the 19 year old from Mullingar no doubt making all the 1D fans out there jealous.
Speaking about it on Australian Radio recently, Niall joked: “Katy Perry had lovely purple lipstick on and I still haven’t washed it off yet to be fair!”
After the kiss, the Irish charmer made an acceptance speech.
While we don’t know what his mother will think of him not washing, nor are we sure we’d go as far as to say it was “lovely” purple lipstick that she was wearing, it’s cute to see Niall being all sentimental.
Wonder if the encounter will make an appearance on the boys’ second album which is due out this November?
