Amanda Bynes was arrested and taken for a psychiatric evaluation last night according to reports.
The staff at her Manhattan apartment apparently called the authorities after seeing the troubled star smoking weed in the lobby yesterday evening.
The star has been in the headlines a lot recently.
When officers arrived at her apartment, they found Bynes and a bong which she then threw out the window.
She was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and marijuana possession.
TMZ reports that during her arrest Bynes lost her cool and started shouting, “Don’t you know who I am?”
The actress starred in a number of films including She’s The Man.
This isn’t the first time the 27-year-old, who has had a number of personal issues over the last year, has been in trouble with the police.
She is currently on probation for driving with a suspended license and also has a driving under the influence case pending.
