We always support our own and we think the heavily pregnant Imelda May looks only fabulous as she continues to tour around the world with only one month to go until she pops.
The singer looked amazing at the Peace One Day in Londonderry a few weeks ago where she wore a figure hugging leopard print dress and towering heels as she belted out a couple of her hits.
We admire her dedication to her fans because we find it hard it hard to lug ourselves out of bed on a Monday morning let along carry a plus one around in a tour bus as well. Also, we can barely manage our heels as it is.
The Libertines singer and her husband Darrel Higham announced Imelda’s first pregnancy in February.
The lovely Imelda has always been a hard worker and her rise to fame was a result of years plugging away at her career in the UK. It is no surprise to us that she won’t allow herself a minute to catch her breath and we are in awe of not only her maternity wardrobe but also her energetic performances at recent gigs. With her usual tambourine in hand she has been a real crowd-pleaser.
Like ourselves she is a bit of a home bird and returns to Dublin as often as she can we’re glad she is in no rush to forget her roots.
Despite this, the Johnny Got A Boom Boom singer plans to give birth in a UK hospital near the couple’s home in London next month.
This is one Irish celebrity baby we can’t wait to see. We wonder if he or she will be born with the trade-mark blonde quiff. Here’s hoping!
