Robert Pattinson took the high road after Kristin Stewart’s affair but he’s decided that it’s finally time to address the elephant in the room.
The Twilight co-star’s relationship ended after Stewart was pictured kissing Snow White director Rupert Sanders, with Sanders’ wife Liberty Ross also filing for divorce as a result of the fling.
In an interview with Esquire, Pattinson showed that he isn’t holding a grudge over the very public betrayal.
“Shit happens, you know? It’s just young people… it’s normal. And honestly, who gives a shit?”
The actor went on to admit that the toughest part of the ordeal was seeing the media coverage and backlash against his ex-girlfriend.
“The hardest part was talking about it afterwards. Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can’t predict.”
