We know we’re too old for admiring One Direction the odd time we do, although it hasn’t held some ladies back!, but we have to admit there’s absolutely no temptation with this cover shot. We’re going to leave the boys’ latest magazine cover shoot by the wayside…
The One D gang have posed with some furry friends for the November issue of Wonderland magazine, cuddled onto the cover of the publication with a One Direction Labrador puppy each…
It’s the definition of ‘cheese’.
And people have already started slating them…
Red-top The Sun dubbed the shoot “one of the cheesiest magazine covers of all time” and others might have likened the boys in their woollies to Father Ted character Eoin McLove, whose fondness for woolly jumpers and Daniel O’Donnell-like persona appealed to all the old ladies of Craggy Island.
Maybe we shouldn’t be so harsh, it’s all in aid of a good cause as the puppies are in fact trainee dogs.
But we just can’t comprehend the need for the woolly jumpers… or at least Niall’s Barbie pink one.
