Ever wish that the Graham Norton show went on for a little longer than just its normal Friday night slot? Well, your wish is our command. Or more like the BBC’s command…
The Irish comic is joining forces with old veteran of the talkshow couch Terry Wogan in order to beat a world record for the most questions asked on a chat show. The event will take place March 7th on BBC 3 and Wogan will be on back-up questions duty for the Irishman.
Guests lined up for the lengthy chat show will include Elle Macpherson, Ronnie Corbitt, Martin Freeman, Jimmy Carr, James Nesbitt, Paddy McGuinness and Keith Lemon. The show will also feature music from Example and Paloma Faith.
Norton is particularly excited about the event and commented: “David Walliams swam the Thames, John Bishop endured a week of hell and Eddie Izzard ran marathon after marathon after marathon… I am hoping to join the elite group of marathon celebrity fundraisers by doing what I do best – sitting on my backside and talking.”
It is expected the show could run up to six hours. What we want to know is how many people he has lined up for the infamous Red Chair…
