Telly chef Gino D’Acampo has spoken out about receiving dirty fanmail, in all senses of the word, and some unusual propositions in a pub.

The good-looking chef said he gets dozens of raunchy letters from female fans every week.

The ‘This Morning’ presenter – who also co-hosts ITV1’s ‘Let’s Do Lunch’ with Mel Sykes- said he gets up to 20 or 30 dirty fan letters on a weekly basis.

“It varies from half-naked pictures to knickers,” he said.

“They send the knickers or a bra to me to sign and then send back.”

In a stomach-lurching twist, D’Acampo admits to receiving a pair of worn knickers in the post.

“The worst one was a pair of knickers which were sent in to me which she must have worn for days. Some people are perverts, what can I say?”

D’Acampo’s good looks certainly have their downfall, he also experienced an awkward proposition in a local bar.

The ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!’ winner said he was flabbergasted by the proposal of a man in a pub who wanted to watch Gino and his wife get intimate.

Gino told The Irish Sun he didn’t think the guy was serious at the beginning.

“He wanted to pay money to watch me having sex with my wife. It was a lot of money. I didn’t think the guy was serious at the beginning and then he went into a really serious mood and I was like, s**t, this is very uncomfortable’. It was quite wierd and also quite flattering. I didn’t do it by the way!”

Gino’s co-host Mel Sykes said he’s a “terrible flirt”, but they all love him for it.

“I don’t know a woman that doesn’t love him, including me,” she said.

“He’d go into the audience and literally snog people. I had a friend in the audience last year and he literally had her-she was beetroot. I thought it was hilarious.”

Cheeky stuff Gino, no wonder women think it’s ok to send you their smalls…
