Taylor Swift is the kind of girl who does not handle a break up well. We’ve all had romances that didn’t last or boyfriends who perhaps screwed us over, but after the first few weeks post break-up, we’re usually sick of talking about that loser.
However, poor Taylor is one to hold a grudge and has used her romantic history as inspiration for literally every song she has ever penned.
The singer was devastated when Nick Jonas ended their teenage romance but Taylor made it her business to tell the world he dumped her over the phone, and didn’t resist writing a series of songs to stick the knife in deeper.

Next, Taylor moved on to Twilight hottie Taylor Lautner, who kicked Taylor to the curb in 2009, inspiring Swift to write the song Back to December.
Let’s not forget notorious heartbreaker John Mayer. Taylor really should have seen that one coming, but after being dumped by the musician, Taylor wrote her hit Dear John, but she really could have been subtler, right?
That brings us to Taylor’s latest track, the catchy We are Never Ever Getting Back Together, which is believed to be in reference to the wonderful Jake Gyllenhaal, who broke up with Taylor last year.
We thought that writing all of these angsty tunes would get all of Taylor’s heartbreak out of her system, but it seems she is still keen on blabbing on about it.
Speaking to Marie Claire, Taylor said: “Even after it explodes into a million pieces and burns down and you’re standing in a pile of the ash of what it once was thinking, “Why did I have to meet this person, why did this have to happen?”
“But then, when you make eye contact with someone across the room and it clicks and, bam, you’re there. In love again,” she said.

We can’t say that we have fallen in love with anyone at first sight, but we guess Taylor is the romantic type.
Despite her revengeful songwriting, Taylor said she always warns her boyfriends that if they mess with her, she won’t hesitate to sing about them post break-up.
“Well… it’s not like it’s in fine print, but music is absolutely everything that I am and everything that I stand for. It’s not my fault if someone gets into a relationship with me and then cheats and I write a song about it,” she said.
We’ve come to the conclusion that if we were a guy, we wouldn’t come within a ten-foot radius of Swift, especially if a glance has her in love all over again.
Slow down, girl!
