We all know that Taylor Swift is a little bit, well…obsessed with her new boyfriend Conor Kennedy, but is her interest in Conor and his family starting to get a bit creepy? Yes, says a member of the family who claims that Taylor is a Kennedy “groupie.”
According to reports today, sources have claimed that country crooner is so besotted with Conor’s iconic family, that his cousin Ted Kennedy has started calling her a “Kennedy groupie.” Mortifying or what?
“She’s obsessed with the family. She’s head over heels. Conor’s a smart, sensitive guy and she says it’s a fantasy come true. Taylor is very smitten,” said a friend close to the singer.
Smitten and all as she may be, you have to admit the fact that Taylor collects Kennedy memorabilia and reads books about the family’s history is just a tad bit strange…

The singer is said to have become enamoured with the family while she was watching the TV mini-series The Kennedys last year. She then started to collected memorabilia and various other keepsakes associated with the iconic American family and brushing up on the history surrounding the various members.
“I just read a 900-page book called The Kennedy Women,” Taylor admitted to Rolling Stone magazine last summer.
Months later, Rory Kennedy asked her for some concert tickets and invited Taylor to visit the family home, where she met Conor for the first time.
It’s great that Taylor has finally found someone she cares about so much, but do you think she’s being a little bit too intense?
