Taylor Swift fans figure out ‘hidden meaning’ behind her Grammys outfit

Swifties are at it again

The Grammy Awards took place last night, and Taylor Swift fans have all noticed the same detail in her outfit of the night.

The ‘Fortnight’ singer was nominated for six gongs, including Album of the Year, but failed to win any.

However, fans didn’t let this from noticing the Easter eggs the songstress may have hidden in her outfit.

The 35-year-old donned a beautiful red Vivienne Westwood mini dress, and fans noticed that she had a chain with a ‘T’ hanging from it on her thight.

Swifties recalled lyrics from her Reputation track ‘Call It What You Want’, which go: I want to wear his initial / On a chain ’round my neck, chain ’round my neck / Not because he owns me / But ’cause he really knows me.”

Although these lyrics are in reference to her partner of the time, Joe Alwyn, Swift’s choice of the letter ‘T’ is more likely in regards to her new beau – Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

Fans pointed out the chain’s reminiscence to another one of her tracks – ‘Guilty As Sin’ from her most recent album The Tortured Poets Department.

“What if he’s written mine on his upper thigh,” lyrics from the track read. With the ‘T’ being placed on her upper thigh, it’s clear to read into this as being in reference to Travis.

Swifties also pointed to the star’s earrings, which had 12 gems on, as marking a potential hint as to what the singer could be up to next for her twelfth album.

Although this is all speculation, of course, Swift is known for often dropping Easter eggs.

At last year’s Grammys, when she announced her eleventh album The Tortured Poets Department, Swift made a hand signal indicating two.

Upon the album’s release, she left fans stunned dropping a ‘second album’ of tracks less than twelve hours after the release of the first load.
