Two of the Tallafornia crew were involved in a vicious nightclub fight over Tallafornia “hunk” bodybuilder Marc O’Neill.
The bodybuilder’s ex-girlfriend Karina Kennedy has spoken out and told of the war of words between herself and Nikita Murray at the TV3 show’s wrap party this week.
The beautician claims she was targeted because she had dated Marc before Nikita’s friend and co-star Natalie Geraghty.
The crew were partying at new Dublin nightclub Everleigh Gardens where Ne-Yo’s gig after-party also took place.
Twenty-five-year-old Karina was with Tallafornia stars Cormac Branagan (who’s dipping into the fashion industry lately) and Phil Penny.
“Marc asked me to come but he had a gig, so I was there waiting for him with a couple of friends and Cormac and Philly.
“The girls were there with a few pals and also Aislinn (Kennedy) from the show. From first I set eyes on them I could feel the tension, they were giving me daggers.
“I had never met either of them before, but I immediately knew they had a problem with me,” she told The Irish Sun.
Tallaght girl Karina saidd: “I have never been in a fight in my life. I have done nothing wrong except be supportive of my friend Marc. I don’t deserve this abuse.
“I started bawling crying and Philly came in and literally lifted me out of the way and I ran off to the toilets.
“Marc arrived a little later and he was fuming. He wanted to find Natalie and Nikita and have it out them but they had disappeared into the VIP section at this stage and I told him just to leave it.”
Nikita told her side of the story yesterday and said she wanted to put the incident behind her.
“I just thought it was weird for her to show up with our group,” she said.
Phil said: “Nikita started having a go at Karina and I told her to back off. I felt really sorry for the girl.”
Marc, 27, got his oar in too: “Tallafornia was a great opportunity for me to have a bit of fun and make some money, but it’s not my life.
“I’ve college and lots of other things going on, so do the other lads, but not Natalie and Nikita, they are obsessed with the show.”
