Singer Jamelia will not only be hoping to find a new superstar as a judge on The Voice Of Ireland but she will also be hoping to get close to fellow judge Bressie.
The mother of two, who is replacing Brian Kennedy on the next series of the talent show, admitted that she hasn’t heard of any of his songs but thinks he’s a bit of alright in the looks department. (Not that we can blame her!)
Jamelia quite likes the look of fellow judge Bressie.
According to reports this morning, she said: “I hadn’t heard of Bressie before I watched the show but I know who he is now… He’s eye candy – I still don’t know any of his songs yet but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.”
Speaking of bridges, Jamelia is keen to build a few with the Irish charmer who recently revealed that he was single. “I am free to look at Bressie all day. I am a big fan of the Irish accent so I certainly would be happy to have a chat while I’m here,” she explained.
The Stop singer will be a new addition to the judging panel.
Asides from her love life, the 31-year-old also has her sights set on the competition. She described her ideal contestant: “I would be much more comfortable with someone who sings R’n’B as that’s what I know but I really liked Conor, Pat and Nollaig in the last series.”
Whoever she gets and whatever happens with Bressie, Jamelia is eager to get started in her new, rotating seat: “Every time I have been here I’ve loved it so when I was offered the role I was delighted,” she told the Irish Daily Mirror.
Tell us, do you think love could blossom between these two on the set of The Voice Of Ireland?
