This supermodel got absolutely bashed for her ‘lack’ of effort at last night’s Met Gala

Ouch.

The Met is fashion's biggest night of the year. From the weird to the wonderful and the downright extravagant, it's an event whereby less is certainly not more and playing up to the theme will score you all the fashion brownie points. And as many were glued to Twitter and their TV screens last night to judge and discuss the looks as they came onto the pink carpet, there was overall dismay for one look that didn't work the camp theme to full potential. That look was from Karlie Kloss. Many took to Twitter as she arrived to question her simple look, hair and makeup, while others were not impressed at her lack of effort to make the theme her own.

Many of her fellow supermodel friends, however, took the theme and ran with it, Cara Delevingne wore a gay pride raindow-esque catsuit with matching headpiece and wow.
