What a day! Not only has Liberty Ross filed for divorce from Rupert Sanders but it appears that the other half of last year’s biggest love scandal could also be over for good.
Rumours have it that Robert Pattinson is due to meet up with another woman after reportedly calling it a day on his romance with Kristen Stewart last week (although those breakup rumours were also claimed to be false).
Kristen and Robert got back together after it emerged she had cheated on him.
Anyway, the On the Road actress (who had an affair with director Rupert Sanders) is said to be distraught at the idea of Robert meeting up with his Remember Me co-star Emilie de Ravin while he is out in Australia shooting his new film Rover.
An insider told Look magazine: “Rob and Emilie get on ridiculously well. They stayed in touch after working together, and now Rob’s moving over to her home country their texts and calls have stepped up again. They’ve arranged to meet as soon as possible.”
Despite the fact that Australian actress Emilie is married, Kristen isn’t too happy about Robert meeting up with her again considering there were whispers that they had gotten very close when they worked together back in 2009.
Robert and Emilie starred in romantic drama Remember Me together.
“Kristen knows that Rob and Em are close and that must have been difficult for her… Rob’s always talked about Emilie being a very ‘warm’ person and this no doubt made Kristen a bit insecure.
“When he mentioned they might meet up, Kristen flipped,” the source explained before adding that the Water For Elephants actor is keen to keep things casual with his Twilight sweetheart.
“I’m sure Kristen doesn’t believe Rob cheated on her, but there’s no denying she always saw Emilie as a threat. Kristen and Rob have been on shaky ground since Kristen cheated back in July, and Rob has since been wanting to keep things casual.”
So there you have it, another A-list couple could be over. Although we have to admit (purely based on the amount of twists and turns this romance has taken over the last six months) we’re not counting our chickens just yet!
