Stephanie Davis has gone Instagram official with her new boyfriend - and he will be a very familiar to soap fans. The actress is dating Hollyoaks' Owen Warner, who plays Romeo Quinn, after the pair fell head-over-heels while on set. The Mirror report that they attended the Hollyoaks Christmas party together in Liverpool, with Stephanie's spokesperson saying:

"They are in a relationship and they are very happy."

And the pair appeared to go Instagram official on Friday night, as Owen referred to the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant as "my girl". During the festivities, Stephanie jumped up onto the stage to perform Amy Winehouse's version of Valerie, to many cheers from everyone in the room. Owen seemed to be particularly proud, though, as he shared a video of Stephanie singing and captioned it:   "How is this my girl?" The news comes just a few months after Stephanie reprised her role as Hollyoaks' Sinead O'Connor, following a three year absence. Owen joined the cast in July, after he completed his performing arts course in 2017. While Stephanie's character was only back on screen in October, she's been filming with the Hollyoaks cast since August. A source told The Sun that it is still "early days" for the relationship, adding:

“Steph and Owen became friends when she returned to Hollyoaks but in recent weeks it’s turned into a romance. “It’s well known among the cast that they’re dating but it’s very early days for them both.”
