Mischa Barton finally feels at home after settling into Parisian life.
The actress feels she has finally found herself in Europe.
The actress left Los Angeles soon after she departed hit teen drama ‘The OC’ because she needed some time to get her head together.
Mischa said she was ready to soak up the French culture and escape the paparazzi in LA.
According to The Irish Daily Mirror the actress said: “I was ready to go and live in Europe for a minute. You know when you’re maxed out? I’d spend a lot of time in the public eye.
“I’d become people’s punch bag and was ready to get out.
“Living in Paris was really formative for me. I found myself again and made new friends,” she said.

The actress has been living a quiet life since her departure from Hollywood and has dabbled in fashion.
“Everyone’s career has different levels of momentum. It’s very rare you see a career, which has a perfect trajectory.
“As an actor, you can only enjoy what you’re doing,” she said.
Mischa is currently preparing for her role in Steel Magnolias in which she will star alongside Anne Charleston.
