Start Swiping Ladies – Corrie Heartthrob Shayne Ward Is On Tinder

When it comes to dating, even celebrities can need a helping hand when looking for love.  Former X Factor winner Shayne Ward is no different and has confirmed this week that he is on Tinder. Shayne won the X Factor in 2005. The No Promises singer, who made his Coronation Street debut earlier this year, revealed to the Daily Star that he uses the app. He said: "Yes I’m on Tinder, it is not a fake account. "I thought I’d give it a go yeah…it’s quite fun. I’ve not been on any dates yet as I’m only two weeks into it. I have had quite a few matches on it though". Shayne split from long term girlfriend Faye last year.  However, the 30-year-old admitted that there are some drawbacks to having a famous face online: "People don’t think it is me when I’m talking to them. They think I am catfishing them." Explaining how he first decided to join, the crooner insisted that he initially set it up "as a joke". "What it is, I was having a bet with my management that I would go on it. So initially I set it up as a joke." Yeah, yeah, that's what they all say.
