He’s on the road to recovery.
Mary J Blige and Ellen Degeneres were among the stars who send messages of support to Oscar winning actor, Jamie Foxx following his recent medical complication.
Last month, the 55-year-old revealed that he was being treated for an unexpected medical complication following an undisclosed incident but that he’s on his way to recovery.
After weeks of silence, Foxx took to Instagram and wrote: “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.”
This reassured friends and fans of the family man that he was okay and getting better.
Among the many who sent him well wishes were Jeremy Renner and Vin Diesel.
Jeremy Renner, who is recovering from a serious snowplough accident, wrote: “Sending you strength and love.”
Vin Diesel commented praying hand emojis under the post.

Performer Mary J Blige wrote: “Love you Jamie”. Former co-star of Jamie’s, actor Ansel Elgort commented: “You are the greatest Jamie, please make a speedy recovery. You are a blessing to this world, we need you in it.”
Jamie Foxx also thanked TV host Nick Cannon for filing in for him as host of TV game show, Beat Shazam.
He said: “Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon. See u all soon.”
Jamie’s daughter, Corinne, shared the news of her father’s illness on Instagram last month.
She said: “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.
“We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.”
Foxx seemingly took ill on set in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was filming a new action comedy movie called Back In Action, with Cameron Diaz.
The pair worked together in 1999’s Any Given Sunday and in the 2014 remake of Annie.
