First Denise Van Outen hit out at rumours that her marriage was in trouble and now her hubby Lee Mead has done the same.
The West End star has shot down reports that his relationship is at breaking point, insisting that he and Denise are “fine and happy.”
Lee has spoken out about the rumours surrounding his marriage.
He also told new! magazine that he was surprised by what was said in the papers: “It all came as a bit of a surprise, really. It isn’t very nice.”
Speculation of a split began last month when former Big Breakfast presenter Denise was spotted holidaying in Dubai by herself.
Denise also denied they were having problems.
But it appears all is “fine.” In fact Lee hinted that things are so “fine” that there could be another baby on the cards for the couple who already have a three-year-old daughter called Betsy.
“It would be nice to have another one, but we’ll just have to see what happens. It’s something that’s private between us,” he explained.
