Stacey Solomon shares emotional post ahead of major milestone for her eldest son

It's true what they say about kids.

You blink and they're toddlers and then they're off to school and then they're graduating. It happens faster than you can imagine. Even comparing my son's first school photo three years ago to now, he's so much more grown-up and I just don't know when it happened. Mum and TV personality Stacey Solomon knows this all too well as she took to social media this week to share an emotional post about her eldest son starting secondary school. https://www.instagram.com/p/B14LOq-DbF1/ The mum of three shared a family photo on Instagram along with a post talking about how she can't believe how quickly her children have grown.

"This one is an emotional one for me because after 2 years of homeschooling Zachary is off to Secondary School and I just can’t believe how quickly it’s come around. I’m going to make the most of the last few days of the holidays before my baby becomes a big boy! (He will always be my baby) P.S Rex’s face cracks me up! P.P.S is anyone else’s babies off to secondary school? Or recently started? What’s your best advise, hacks, tips?"

Fans of the celebrity mum were quick to respond with their advice;

"As a teacher in a secondary school just reassure all of your children that there will be 200 other year 7/new starters in exactly the same position! If they’re lost or worried speak to an adult/older student and try everything they get the opportunity for. Oh the only stupid question is the one you didn’t ask...Lots of luck and from experience, they will have settled no problem by October half term! "

My son only recently started at a new school and I honestly think I was more nervous than him on his first day. Kids are so quick to adapt to change, it's always us parents who are the emotional wrecks. We can't help it though. As Stacey says, they'll always be our babies.
