Sorry, wait… what? Apparently, Michael Griffiths is ‘head over heels’ in love with Ellie Brown

Maybe we're too invested in winter Love Island or maybe we just haven't been paying attention to what previous Islanders have been getting up to - but a new relationship is after forming and it has majorly come out of the blue. Former co-stars of Love Island Michael Griffiths and Ellie Brown are now in a relationship and they're gushing about each other on social media. The pair met on the most recent series of Ex On The Beach, and while it only began this week, it seems we have a spoiler alert already. The Sun spoke to the former firefighter, and he said: "Ellie and I did form a good bond on the show. The relationship we built was unbelievable. To have someone as amazing as her in my life means so much. I'm head over heels and I'm not letting her go.

"Initially I just opened up to her because we were both from up north, she was a friendly face and I guess we have a lot in common both being on Love Island.

"She instantly felt like home. But then it grew into a lot more. She helped me open up and believe in myself a lot more."

However, even after Michael gushed over her, Ellie has confirmed that she doesn't have a boyfriend and she has not found "The One." So, Michael... what are you playing at?
