The singers have been dating for five months and are spending the holidays with Katy’s family in the California beach town. And apparently the 35-year-old heartbreaker has been given the seal of approval by Katy’s parents and friends.
The singers have mostly kept their romance under the radar with this ‘Santa Baby’ Twitter picture being one of the most public displays of affection between the pair yet.
Mayer has had a string of high profile relationships with fellow celebrities including Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Taylor Swift. But he hasn’t always behaved like a gentleman in the past as he publically spoke about his affairs to the press.
This is the 28-year-old’s first proper relationship since her divorce from comedian Russell Brand was finalised this summer. And we’re happy to hear that Katy was spoilt for Christmas as it’s reported John designed a guitar to give to the Fireworks singer as her Christmas present.
