The actress, best known for her role as Zuri Ross in Disney's Jessie, was taken into police custody after a domestic incident at a US theme park.
The 22-year-old was reportedly arrested for "spousal battery" at Universal Studios in Hollywood.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed she was arrested on Friday, August 9th.
Officers confirmed the actress was the "primary aggressor".
Police were called after the park's security noticed her and her partner getting into a physical altercation at the theme park.
They stated:
"On Friday at approximately 5.10 pm, while inside the Universal Studios Theme Park, a domestic incident occurred involving Skai Jackson," the department said in a statement given to the PA news agency.
"Based on the initial investigation, it was determined Ms Jackson was the primary aggressor and was arrested for misdemeanor spousal battery.
"She was transported to the West Hollywood station for booking. The investigation is ongoing and will be sent to the Van Nuys Superior Court House for filing."
Skai Jackson rose to fame when she was only nine years old after landing a role in the popular Disney show Jessie.
She starred in the beloved Disney show from 2011 to 2015.
Jackson returned as Zuri in the show Bunk'd between 2015 and 2018.
