Shakira’s ex-boyfriend has filed a $100 million (€77 million) lawsuit against her, but Shakira has warned she is not paying him a cent.

The Voice coach and singer is fighting back after her ex-boyfriend Antonio de la Rua filed the lawsuit against her. He claims he was her manager during their 11-year relationship and said he won “lucrative music deals for her” and is owed a chunk of it, TMZ reports.

The “chunk”? $100 million.

Shakira’s lawyers have claimed she already had international success by the time she met de la Rua in 2000 and also details that, even though he did advise her on some occasions, he was never her manager.

Shakira’s lawyers have said they will not pay de la Rua a cent.

Shakira also writes that the only thing herself and de la Rua ever signed was a 2006 agreement in Colombia, in which they decided to keep their own assets separate if they split.

De la Rua dated Shakira for more than 10 years before ending their relationship in January 2011. Mum-of-one Shakira has just celebrated the birth of her son Milan with soccer player boyfriend Gerard Pique.
