We don’t know about you, but when it comes to Irish celebs we have such a girl-crush on Amy Huberman and it seems like we’re not the only ones who absolutely love her!
Pauline McLynn, also known as Mrs Doyle from Father Ted, has been singing Amy’s praises ever since she starred alongside her in the hilarious comedy Threesome.
“She’s always got a smile on her face. And she’s really funny,” said Pauline, gushing over Hubes.
“She’s very beautiful and loves nothing more than doing goofy and that’s really attractive,” she added.
We agree. We can’t count the number of times Amy’s Twitter-feed has made us burst out laughing and click the re-tweet icon.
Anyway, Pauline also said that she was delighted Amy was embracing the joys of becoming a mammy (the actress is currently expecting, just in case you missed the news earlier this autumn).
“I was a showbiz granny and mammy to her in the show [Threesome]. My kid is having a kid – she’s fantastic,” said Pauline.
Amy and her hubby, Brian O’Driscoll, are currently expecting their first child
But despite her impending motherhood, Amy is still working hard and showing no signs of slowing down any time soon.
The actress was spotted on the set of her upcoming film The Stag yesterday. She had her bump wrapped up warm against the cold and, in typical Hubes fashion, was smiling, laughing and just generally having the craic.
According to the Independent, Amy’s new film is being shot over the next four weeks and will be released next year. It’s all about a group of fellas who embark on an Irish stag do, with Amy playing the bride-to-be.
So sort of like an Irish version of The Hangover then? Either way it sounds good to us!
