Jilted soapstar Jennifer Metcalfe has mended her broken heart in a matter of days…
The ex-Hollyoaks actress has been spotted kissing Geordie Shore’s Greg Lake and, according to reports, the couple have been “inseparable” in the last week.
The 29-year-old actress was snapped playing tonsil tennis with the Geordie Shore’s first series hunk.
Jennifer revealed she “felt like death” when her ice skater boyfriend Sylvain Longchambon, 32, dumped her for Coronation Street’s Samia Ghadie, 30.
But just 20 days later she was snapped locking lips with Greg, 27, and slipping a cheeky hand up his thigh.
A source close to them said: “They’ve known each other for over a year after meeting at different celeb parties.
“I think the spark was always there, but when Jen was with Sylvain obviously they never acted on it.
“Jen has been in Whitley Bay near Newcastle over Christmas because she was in a pantomime there and Greg lives in Newcastle so they had been meeting up.
“It was about a week ago that they made it official.
“They’ve been going for romantic meals almost every night and Jen has been staying over at Greg’s.”
Greg, who has dated model Nadia Forde, quit Geordie Shore after the first season as he didn’t like the “bed-hopping” of his co-stars.
The source told the Irish Sun: “They planned to keep it out of the spotlight but they can’t keep their hands off each other when they are out, so it is proving difficult.
“People in the club were staring at them and people that had been sat around seemed to desert quickly.
“I know that some of Jen’s friends think that she’s moved on to Greg too fast.
“She was totally devastated after she split with Sylvain because it was all so public. They had talked about having children and she really thought he was for keeps.”

Jennifer had shared a Merseyside home with Sylvain after she fell under his spell when he tutored her in ITV’s Dancing On Ice two years ago.
Sylvain broke the news about Samia, his new show dance partner, on Christmas Day. Just days later it emerged she had left her Corrie co-star partner Will Thorp.
The source said: “Jen told me the thing that hurt most about the break-up was the way it mirrored how she and Sylvain fell for each other.
“She knows how passionate the dances get in rehearsals and she hates the thought of him being like that with Samia.”
