Shay Mitchell and Matte Babel revealed their baby’s gender in the craziest way possible

Shay Mitchell and her boyfriend, Matte Babel, have revealed their baby's gender - with some help from the Power Rangers.

The Pretty Little Liars star and her boyfriend, Matte Babel, announced late last month that they were expecting their first child. Mitchell told her followers how they were "beyond excited" to share the news, and how she had learned so much about herself - as well as Babel - over the last six months. Since then, she's been proudly showing off her bump - and, in her latest pregnancy update, shared her gender reveal party with fans. In a video titled Do NOT Try This Gender Reveal At Home, so you know things are about to take a turn. The footage begins in a doctor's office, with him offering to tell the actress and her boyfriend the baby's gender then. However, Mitchell tells him that her assistant had organised something for them to find out later. She later tells the camera:

"I truly think that I'm having a boy because...just the retribution of having a girl, my parents would look at me and be like, 'it's karma, bitch.' "It's a boy."

It then cut to the couple sitting in their backyard, taking turns calling their friends and family to find out if they thought they were having a boy or girl. Almost everybody ends up saying they think its a girl (the final score of the poll is 6 for girl, 2 for boy). Then, the moment of truth arrives. A Power Ranger dressed in blue stepped out onto the stairs, leading the couple to believe they're having a boy - and they began to cheer. The Blue Power Ranger was soon followed by a Pink Power Ranger, though, with Mitchell exclaiming:

"Wait, what?! We're not having twins!?"

The Pink and Blue Power Rangers then had to 'fight' it out, with the winning colour being the gender of the couple's baby. Meanwhile, both Babel and Mitchell are sitting there fairly confused - since, again, it was her assistant that organised the whole thing so they really don't know what's going on. But when the Power Rangers fell into the pool, their costumes no longer became breathable - and the gender reveal had to stop. At least, temporarily. The camera cut out for a moment, before returning to reveal that the Power Rangers are actually friends of the couple...and the Pink Power Ranger coming over to give Babel and Mitchell a hug.
