The power of YouTube is not even a decade old, so celebrities living in fear of their embarrassing television appearances from times gone by probably thought they had it sorted.
John Travolta was sitting back, relaxing, safe in the supposed knowledge that his half-naked escapades in the shower would remain in the 80s.
But that’s where they were wrong.

We don’t know what’s worse- the girls dancing in the background, the wonderfully hideous 80s hair-do or the fact that she promises tampons will change the way we feel about our period forever… Wonder was she ever the butt of a joke on the Friends set for this…
2. Meg Ryan for Burger King
Ah Meg, look at you… A face of innocence, overjoyed by the offers and food Burger King are offering… The 80s didn’t get any more enthusiastic than this.
3. Keanu Reeves for Cornflakes
Kelloggs Cornflakes and… Keanu Reeves? Indeed. It seems Reeves has taken a jump twenty years into the future to set the table for the Hogwarts gang at breakfast. Regardless of that, Keanu looks happy… and that’s what’s important.
4. Brad Pitt for Pringles
You thought Brad got a bit of stick for his Chanel No 5 advert before Christmas? Wait until you see this. Beach front, convertible cars, dancing, sunshine… and a box of Pringles. Brad hardly knew he’d make it so big…
5. John Travolta for Safeguard
And last, but most definitely not least- Safeguard were looking for someone who could sing, share a shower with two other guys without laughing and endorse the product with vigour. How could you even think beyond John Travolta?
