She has been surrounded by controversy over the last few weeks but now Coronation Street’s Samia Ghadie has decided to speak out about the rumours surrounding her and her Dancing On Ice partner Sylvain Longchambon.
The actress and Sylvain were rumoured to be an item after he reportedly dumped his girlfriend, Hollyoaks star Jennifer Metcalfe, when he developed feelings for Samia who was also said to have split with other half Will Thorp.
Sylvain apparently dumped Jennifer whom he met on the show two years ago.
But now Samia has revealed that she is single. She told The Sun: “I’m single and I’m just having fun skating. It’s such a dangerous sport anyway that I can’t afford to be focusing on anything other than just being a good skater and good mum.”
And we thought Rihanna had the most-complicated love life at the moment! Then again Samia might be trying to redeem a few votes considering that she is the bookmakers’ favourite to go on Sunday.
Rumours have it Samia and Sylvain are now an item which she has denied.
Samia isn’t the only person talking about her rumoured romance as judge Jason Gardiner has said he wouldn’t be surprised if the pair had gotten close.
“This show is notorious for that sort of thing. I can’t keep up with all the shenanigans,” he explained to The Mirror.
“I think inevitably when you are training day in day out you’re very vulnerable with your professional partner, and that person really props you up.” Guess we’ll just have to tune in on Sunday to see what happens!
